Rise Above Floatation
Rise Above is Westchester County’s first Floatation center, in Mount Kisco, NY. Convenient to New York City, the shop is a short jog from Metro North Railroad, right off the Saw Mill Parkway.
A website for a brick-and-mortar startup.
To be honest, this is a pretty basic website. It’s no-frills and minimalistic, but gets the job done. Rise Above hired us to build them a new website well before they were scheduled to open. Here’s a few elements from the journey.
Imagery
We had some fairly interesting imagery to work with. This piece here served to inspire a large number of the initial iterations of the design; colors, space, mood. It ultimately landed us where we are today.
Hold That Thought
The first thing we had to do was provide an initial marketing platform for Micah, company owner, and his team. Right away we built a WordPress one-pager and a blog from which he could start to generate buzz in the familiar editing UI that WordPress provides.
